Audi gets summer ready with S3 Cabriolet

The Audi S3 Cabriolet is expected in Ireland this summer, with prices starting from €58,950

Audi is promising a ‘fascinating drive’ in the new Audi S3 Cabriolet, which is coming to Ireland this summer.

The 2.0 TFSI 300 hp model, which Audi says is the only compact-class convertible to offer permanent all-wheel drive, can accelerate from 0-100kph in 5.4seconds with S tronic.

Lower gears are closely stepped for a sporty effect, with the long gear ratio of the higher gears lowering fuel consumption.

This is 7.1litres/100km with S tronic. The car carries annual road tax of €570.

The top in this four seater is available in three colours and it opens or closes in 18 seconds at speeds of up to 50kph.

Audi describes the interior of the Audi S3 Cabriolet as being ‘draped completely in black’, giving it a ‘clean, elegant appearance’.

Luxury options include head-level front seat heating, a convenience key and LED headlights. The Audi connect system offers customised internet services and the car is available with a 13 speaker Bang & Olufsen Sound System.

Prices for the new Audi S3 Cabriolet start from €58,950 and delivery will start in the summer.

Meanwhile, Audi has also announced pricing for the new Audi S1 and S1 Sportback models.

Prices for the S1 will start from €36,970, with on the road pricing for the S1 Sportback starting from €37,570.
