    The GT Speed is Bentley’s fastest road car ever, going from 0-100kph in 4.2seconds

    Bentley has announced details of its new all-wheel drive performance flagship, the Bentley Continental GT Speed, ahead of its international debut next week at the Moscow Motor Show.

    The Continental GT Speed is the fastest road car Bentley has ever built, going from 0-100kph in 4.2seconds.

    It has a top speed of 330kph and can go from a standing start to 160kph in just 9seconds.

    The Continental GT Speed is powered by Bentley’s iconic 6-litre twin-turbo W12 engine and puts out 625PS, 50PS more than the standard Continental GT. It comes with a new ZF eight-speed close-ratio automatic transmission.

    Fuel efficiency and emissions have been improved by 12 per cent, with the GT Speed achieving combined fuel economy of 14.5litres/100km and CO2 emissions of 338g/km.

    The hand-crafted interior of the GT Speed combines soft, supple leathers, cool-touch metals and polished veneers to produce a luxurious cabin.

    The GT Speed includes an 8-inch touchscreen 30GM on-board infotainment system with SatNav ‘personal points of interest’ feature, as well as an eight-speaker sound system as standard.

    Bentley is now taking orders for the new Bentley Continental GT Speed, with delivery expected in October.
