China debut for Citroën DS 5LS R concept

Citroën has announced the the Citroën DS 5LS R concept is to debut at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition.
Based on the DS 5LS, the car is powered by a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine, developing 300bhp.
Citroën says the new model has ‘the finest in high-end materials and state of the art technology’.
The Concept differs from the production model by sitting 15mm lower and having wider front tracks as well as a paddle-controlled sequential gearbox.
Inside, the cabin is fully lined with Alcantara and leather, including the steering wheel and dashboard.
The instrument panel and the steering wheel feature Carmine Red detailing and the R signature and there are real carbon fibre inserts on the door panels, door handles and steering wheel.
