Prices for the new BMW M6 Gran Coupe will start from just over €181,000

The new BMW M6 Gran Coupe will arrive in Ireland in May, with a starting price tag of €181,180.

Powered by a V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and 560hp, it has a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic, Active M Differential.

BMW says it can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.2seconds and has a top speed of 250kph.

Meanwhile, it describes the cockpit in the four-door Gran Coupe as ‘fusing sports car style with generous levels of space and a luxurious ambience’.

Front seats are sports style, with a Merino leather upholstery. And the German car maker says the larger cabin means two people can sit comfortably in the rear seats, with a third seat for shorter journeys.

The 460-litre boot capacity can be extended to 1,265-litres by lowering the rear seats.

Standard spec in the BMW M6 Gran Coupe includes leather trim, heated front and rear seats, the BMW Professional radio and automatically dimming rear and exterior mirrors.

Options include a four zone climate control system, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats and a a Bang & Olufsen High End Surround Sound System.

Meanwhile, driver aids include head-up display; rear view camera, speed limit information, lane change and departure warnings and pedestrian recognition BMW night vision.

The BMW M6 Gran Coupe will join the coupe and convertible variants in May.
