The five-door will be the first new cee'd available in Ireland

The all new Kia cee’d will reach Irish showrooms next month, with the five-door model the first to be unveiled.

The SW version will follow in September, with the three-door scheduled for January 2013.

Three trims will be available in Ireland – the entry level TX, mid-level EX and top of the range Platinum.

The TX will be available in 1.4 petrol and 1.4 and 1.6 Diesel, the EX in 1.4 and 1.6 diesel while the top of the range model will be available only with the higher powered diesel unit.

The TX features Bluetooth, Audio Remote controls, air-con, trip computer, electric mirrors and six speed transmission as standard.

The EX model, which Kia believes will continue to be the most popular choice for customers, also includes 16” Alloys, Cruise Control, flex steering system, all round electric windows, front fogs, LED lights front and rear, leather covered steering wheel and rear parking sensors.

Prices start from €18,995, with Band A road tax on diesel models. The cee’d also carries Kia’s 7 Year Warranty.
