The new Renault Mégane range is available to test drive now

The new look Renault Mégane range has arrived, complete with two new Stop & Start engines.

Renault says the Mégane is the most fuel-efficient car in its class and the new model has a more modern styling to it, with LED daytime running lights and a new selection of wheels.

Drawing on its F1 experience, Renault says its new engines ‘form unprecedented technology packages’ and the Stop & Start system also features deceleration and braking energy recovery. Engine noise levels have been halved compared to their predecessors, producing ‘a discreet, cushioned sound’.

The new Stop & Start engines comprise a 1.2-litre petrol TCe 115 and a 1.5 dCi 110 diesel model.

As well as cruise control, the new Mégane also offers motorway mode indicators, which, with a slight touch of the indicator stalk, flash three times to warn other drivers of the intention to change lane.

Infotainment-wise, there’s Bluetooth, as well as multi-functional TunePoint and USB/aux sockets which allow music stored on mobile devices to be used through steering wheel mounted controls.

The new Renault Mégane Coupe, Hatch, and Grand Mégane are available to test drive now with prices starting from €18,990.

Renault will guarantee the price of your new Mégane, regardless of what is revealed in the upcoming Budget, for cars ordered before December 31.
