    The new Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo is available now, with prices starting from €12,995

    Skoda has added the sporty Monte Carlo derivative to its Citigo city car range, and has hinted that this treatment may also be on the cards for the Yeti SUV and the Rapid.

    Showcasing its sporty personality, the Citigo Monte Carlo sits lower than the original model, with 15in Auriga aluminium wheels and tinted SunSet windows and sunroof.

    The wing mirrors in this car are black, as is the rear spoiler.

    Inside too bears sporty credentials, with red and black sports seats and a red stitched leather encased steering wheel. Meanwhile, the roof lining, dash and carpeting are also black.

    The door sills carry Monte Carlo decorative trims and the dash also has a Monte Carlo design.

    The Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo is based on the Ambition trim and specifications include front electric windows, remote control central locking, bag hook, ticket holder and folding split rear seat backrest.

    It’s available in a choice of three- or five-door manual or automatic models.The engine is a 1.0-litre 65 or 70 bhp petrol.
