Skoda adds premium L&K trim to Octavia

Prices for the top of the range Skoda Octavia L&K start from €31,995

The premium flagship Skoda Octavia model is now available in Ireland.

In addition to the Elegance trim, the Octavia Laurin & Klement features 18” Turbine alloys and Bi-xenon headlights with LEDs.

Inside, the brown alcantara and leather upholstered front seats are heated and can be electrically adjusted.

Audiophiles will want to check out the 10-speaker Canton sound system, which features voice controlled Bluetooth.

Cornering front fog lights and telescopic front headlight washers are also standard on the L&K model.

Two engines are available in Ireland – a 1.8-litre 180bhp TSI petrol or a 2.0-litre 150bhp TDI diesel.

There’s a choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG automatic transmissions with both engines.

A four-wheel drive option is presently available in the Combi models. However, a saloon 4×4 is expected towards the end of this year.

Skoda Ireland head of marketing, Raymond Leddy said: ‘It is great to be able to offer another Laurin & Klement model in the Škoda range, this time in our biggest-selling car, the Octavia.

‘Hot on the heels of the Superb L&K this version will offer the finest of luxury and comfort in what remains our most important model.’
