The new Opel Mokka arrives in Ireland in early December

Opel has announced three new additions to its range for 2013.

The new Astra, Mokka and Adam will all arrive in the coming months.

The new Opel Astra Saloon finally reaches Ireland on November 3, with prices starting from €19,495.

Meanwhile, Opel’s first venture into the sub-compact SUV segment, the Opel Mokka will arrive in early December.

Both petrol and diesel engines will be on offer, as will both Front Wheel and All Wheel Drive. Three trim levels will be available.

Prices for the Opel Mokka start from €19,995. Opel expects the 1.7CDTI SC model to be the most popular in Ireland, and prices for that will start from €23,995.

Air conditioning, USB connectivity, alloy wheels and Bluetooth are as standard.

And in March, the baby of the Opel family – the new Opel Adam arrives in Ireland. Prices and specs for the new city car will be announced closer to that time.

Opel is now offering price cuts of up to 10 per cent across its passenger range and customers who order a new Opel before December 31 next can avail of a €500 Dunnes Stores Giftcard.

Managing Director of Opel Ireland, Dave Sheeran said: ‘The needs of the Irish motorist have changed. They want true value for money and reassurance that they are buying a quality reliable car that won’t cost the earth to run. That’s what Opel stands for.‘

The MY 2013 Opel range is available to test drive during OpelFest, which runs until December 22.
