June date for BMW M saloon and coupé

The new BMW M3 Saloon and the BMW M4 Coupé will arrive in Ireland on June 21 next, both with price tags in excess of €100,000.
This is the first time the high-performance sports models have received individual names, which BMW says is ‘in deference to the different model series that provide their basis’.
Again for the first time, the BMW M model will carry a turbocharged engine, the 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo.
It puts out 431hp and has a 0-100kph acceleration time of 4.3 seconds with the manual transmission, or 4.1 seconds with the optional M DCT dual clutch transmission.
Its top speed is limited to 250kph.
The fifth generation M is also lighter and more fuel efficient than its predecessor, and BMW says fuel consumption and emissions have been reduced by around 25 per cent, with CO2 emissions at 194g/km.
Both models will be available from June 21, with the M3 Saloon starting from €100,050 on the road and the M4 Coupé starting from €100,890.
