There’s a new estate car in town, and it’s called the Dacia Logan Maximum Capacity Vehicle.

The Logan MCV is the third offering in Ireland from the Renault-owned Romanian car company, following the hugely popular Dacia Duster SUV and the compact Dacia Sandero.

The Dacia Logan MCV is essentially an estate version of the Sandero and Dacia says it has a best in class cargo space, with a 573 litre boot extendable to 1,518 litres with the rear seats folded.

Two trims are available in Ireland – Alternative and Signature, with a choice of three engines.

Standard in the entry level Alternative are electric front windows, Bluetooth connectivity, USB, remote central and automatic door locking.

Meanwhile, move up to the Signature trim and you also get cruise control with speed limiter, air conditioning, electric rear windows and a seven function on board computer.

Both the driver’s seat and the steering wheel are height adjustable and the steering wheel and gear knob are finished in leather.

Engine options are a 1.2 litre petrol, a 0.9 litre TCe 90, and a dCi 90 1.5 litre diesel. The latter attracts the lowest annual road tax at €180.

All models come with a three year/100km warranty.

Prices for the new Dacia Logan MCV start from €11,190 and is available to test drive now.
