Dacia introduces Sandero Stepway crossover

Prices for the new Dacia Sandero Stepway start from €12,290

The Dacia Sandero Stepway Crossover has arrived in Ireland, with prices starting from €12,290.

A sibling of the Irish Car of the Year-nominated Dacia Sandero supermini, the Stepway has ‘all the style of a SUV and all the practicality of a family hatchback’, according to the Romanian car company.

A choice of two engines are available, with the TC3 90 petrol engine putting out 124g/km of CO2, putting it in the €270 tax band.

Meanwhile, the dCi 90 turbo diesel engine falls into the €190 tax band, emitting 105g/km of CO2.

Dacia says that five adults will be comfortable in the cabin, with the Stepway also offering a 320l boot.

Two trim levels are on offer, the entry level Alternative and the higher specced Signature.

Bluetooth, a USB port and an MP3 player, as well as daytime running lights, front electric windows and front fog lights are standard on the Alternative trim.

However, move up to the Signature level and you also get cruise control and speed limiter, manual air conditioning, rear parking sensors and rear electric windows.

The new Dacia Sandero Stepway crossover is available in a choice of five colours – Glacier White, Azure Blue, Fire Red, Pearl Black and Platinum.

Prices for the Dacia Sandero Stepway start from €12,290 and it also comes with the Dacia three year/100,000km warranty.
