Ford Econo Check can save drivers up to a quarter

Ford believes it can help motorists save up to a quarter on their fuel bill with its new Econo Check.

A free service, Econo Check is a first for Ireland.

It works by installing a data logger in the car for a number of days to provide an extended analysis of the motorist’s driving style.

Based on that information, the detailed report, which will be emailed to the driver, offers advice on how to save money.

Ford has also launched the Ford Service Promise, which offers drivers the lowest price servicing with a price match guarantee for Ford drivers.

The scheme also includes free roadside assistance and free puncture repairs for 12 months, free installation of wiper blades or exterior light bulbs and a free car wash and windscreen detergent refill.
