The Kia Sportspace concept will be unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show next month.
Created for long distance driving, the Sportspace has been ‘designed for fast and efficient travel with maximum comfort and minimal stress, in the best grand touring tradition of the weekend getaway’.
Kia describes the shape of the Sportspace as ‘unique and captivating’ with a ‘real road presence’.
‘The car is born out of a commitment to provide stylish and exciting transportation for four which is also spacious and functional, without sacrificing the performance, sustainability and economy that Kia is known for,’ it said.
Kia chief designer Europe, Gregory Guillaume said: ‘We set out to design a car that is a totally new breed of grand tourer – one for active people who need reasonable cargo space on the weekend, but don’t want to compromise moving around in style, comfort and with an element of sportiness.’
