MINI is launching the premium compact delivery van with the arrival later this year of the MINI Clubvan.
The two-seater has five doors, making it practical from a loading point of view as well offering lots of storage.
The blocked-out rear side windows are body-coloured and tinted glass in the rear doors conceal the load from prying eyes.
Inside, the cargo area stretches back 115cm and at its narrowest point measures 102cm wide, offering 860 litres of space and a maximum payload capacity of 500kg.
Three versions will be available in Ireland – the 72kW/98hp MINI One Clubvan, the 90kW/122hp MINI Cooper Clubvan and the 82kW/112hp MINI Cooper D Clubvan.
A six-speed manual transmission is standard, but a six-speed automatic version is also available.
Auto Start/Stop, Shift Point Display, Brake Energy Regeneration also come as standard, as do DAB radio, air-conditioning, electric windows, anti-theft alarm and side and head airbags.
While the MINI Clubvan is primarily aimed at the business sector, MINI believes that it will also have some appeal for drivers with outdoor-based adventure hobbies, such as cycling or mountaineering.
Prices for the MINI Clubvan start from €17,140 and it is due to arrive in Ireland in the autumn.
