Mitsubishi aims for stars with new family car

Prices for the Mitsubishi Space Star start from €11,995
Mitsubishi is promising oodles of space as well as star quality in its all new family compact, the Mitsubishi Space Star.
The car is constructed in high-tensile steel, but Mitsubishi says it’s ‘light enough to be peppy and nimble’ but spacious enough to be an ‘ideal family car’. Five adults can be accommodated comfortably, it says.
Two models are available in Ireland – the 1.0L 71bhp petrol Invite and a 1.2L 80bhp petrol Intense. Both fall into the €180 annual tax bracket.
Air conditioning, electric door mirrors and four speaker infotainment unit with USB are standard on the entry level Invite, while Bluetooth and a leather wrapped steering wheel are also standard on the Intense.
Prices for the Mitsubishi Space Star start from €11,995 and both trims come with an eight-year warranty.
