Audi dealers are now taking orders for the new A3

The all new Audi A3 reaches Irish shores in September but keen motorists can get their order in now.

The new model will initially be offered in five engine options. These include three petrol engines – 1.2l (105bhp), 1.4l (125bhp) and 1.8l (180bhp) – and two diesel engines, a 1.6l (105bhp) and a 2l (150bhp).

Prices start from €25,900 On The Road for the 1.2l petrol, with the 1.6l diesel model costing from €28,350 OTR.

All engines feature reduced emissions. The 1.6-litre diesel engine features emissions as low as 99g, which Audi says is the most fuel efficient engine in its class.

The new Audi A3 also offers new high-performance driver assistance systems, including radar-assisted adaptive cruise control, Audi active lane assist, traffic sign detection, park assist and the Audi pre sense basic safety system.

Managing director of Audi Ireland, Andrew Doyle said: ‘Completely redesigned inside and out, the all-new Audi A3 is sleeker, sportier and even more stylish than its predecessor and has been designed with Audi benchmark quality, to meet the sophisticated demands of our customers, at a price not too dissimilar to the outgoing model.

‘We are very confident this all-new model will be very well accepted by our existing and new Irish customers.’
