New Ford Tourneo Connect available to order

The all new five-seat Ford Tourneo Connect and its seven-seat counterpart, the Grand Tourneo Connect are now available to order.

Ford says the pair provide ‘smart, stylish and affordable people movers for families and users with active lifestyles’, with ‘outstanding fuel economy’.

Flexibility includes versatile seating, sliding side doors and storage.

Fender-bender prevention technology Active City Stop and Ford’s in-car connectivity system, SYNC are also available.

A choice of three engines is available, a 1.0 litre 100PS EcoBoost petrol engine, which is available in the five-seater only, 1.6-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel, which is available in 75, 95 or 115 PS and a 1.6 litre 150PS EcoBoost petrol engine with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Three trim levels are available – Style, Zetec and Titanium.

Ford Ireland managing director, Eddie Murphy said the vehicles are ‘roomy and flexible cars which are kind to the family budget, and offer all the comfort, features and smart technologies which Ford customers have come to expect from our market leading car models’.

Prices for the Ford Tourneo Connect five seater start from €23,900, with prices for the Grand Tourneo Connect starting from €25,100.
