May launch for Peugeot 208 GTi

The new Peugeot 208 GTi will offer driving enthusiasts ‘a perfect blend of performance and style’, Peugeot Ireland has said.
With a top speed of 230kph, the Peugeot 208 GTi 1.6 THP 200bhp can accelerate from 0-100kph in less than seven seconds.
CO2 emissions in this three-door are 139g/km, putting it in the €280 annual road tax bracket.
Red painted brake calipers, 17” alloys, body coloured rear spoiler and twin chrome exhaust, sports seats with black half leather, and rear parking aid are standard features.
Peugeot managing director, George Harbourne said: ‘The Peugeot 208 GTi will deliver strong desirability with exhilaration, performance and panache.
‘Its arrival will reinforce the huge success the Peugeot brand has had during an exceptional history of hot hatchbacks and rally accolades.’
The new Peugeot 208 GTi will be available to order in May, with prices starting from €27,995.
