Prices for new Volvo V40 models

The new Volvo V40 R-Design is available to order now, with prices starting from just under €30,000
Volvo has announced pricing details for the two additions to the Volvo V40 range, which will be available here from January.
The all-new Volvo V40 R-Design will start from €29,495, with the Volvo V40 Cross Country available from €28,645.
Both models will be available in a range of engine types and sizes with both manual and automatic transmissions.
The €29,495 price tag refers to the D2 R-Design model, which Volvo says benefits from class leading CO2 emissions of 94g/km. Meanwhile, prices for the D3 Geartronic R-Design will start from €33,995.
Taking cues from its R-Design stable mates in the rest of the Volvo range, the V40 R-Design offers unique R-Design embossed nubuck upholstery, sports steering wheel and pedals and sports floor mats. It also has a TFT crystal display screen with blue colouring and illuminated gear-knob.

Meanwhile, the €28,645 price is for the D2 Cross Country ES model. Volvo’s offering for drivers who want a small five-door hatch with a more ‘off road’ and rugged look, the V40 Cross Country features City Safety technology, leather steering wheel and gearknob.
Both the Volvo V40 R-Design and the Volvo V40 Cross Country are available to order now, with customer deliveries scheduled for January 2013.
