A stylish and sporty car that’s a doddle to park is what Seat is promising from its new city car, the Seat Mii, which has just launched in the Irish market.
Replacing the Seat Arosa, the Mii will initially be available in a three-door version, powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine putting out 75bhp. It falls into road tax band A, with annual road tax of €160.
The Mii also makes the best of what Seat is describing as ‘surprisingly spacious rear accommodation’, with long doors for easy access. And just in case there’s any confusion at all over which road you’re taking, the rear indicators actually point in the direction of the turn.
The Seat Mii is available in three trim levels, the Mii, CHIC and SPORT. Standard safety equipment includes ESC with hill hold, driver and passenger airbags, passenger airbag deactivation and ISOFIX child seat points for rear seats.
Anyone who buys a Seat Mii this year will find their new car equipped with the Seat Touch system. Normally costing €347, the 5” touch screen portable unit adds SatNav, Bluetooth and an on-board computer.
Seat’s low speed collision technology, the Safety Assist system, can be fitted to the Mii for an additional €216.
Prices for the Seat Mii start from €9,895, with the five-door costing €470 extra. Automatic transmission is also available at an additional cost of €750.
Seat Ireland Brand Director, Adam Chamberlain said: ‘This car is superb value and will appeal to a wide range of buyers, from those starting off, to those looking to downsize without sacrificing quality.’
The Mii comes with a three-year warranty and roadside assistance.
