Skoda sponsors Newstalk GAA

Skoda has been announced as the new sponsor of Newstalk’s GAA coverage.

As part of the deal, Skoda will be doing five live broadcasts with the Newstalk 106-108fm Sport Saturday team.

The shows will be presented by Ger Gilroy from local GAA clubs around the country, with the Newstalk Sports team giving full analysis of the GAA Championships ahead.

Speaking at the launch of Newstalk’s 2012 GAA All-Ireland Senior Championships, Head of Marketing at Skoda Ireland, Raymond Leddy said: ‘[Newstalk] has continually set new standards for sports broadcast coverage and analysis over the last number of years and we were particularly impressed by their GAA coverage in what was their debut season in 2011.’
