Each winning driver can bring four friends with them to map a paradise island

If you like driving, tropical islands, sunshine and earning lots of money for very little work, then TomTom has just the task for you.

The SatNav company is looking to send five families or groups of friends on an all-expenses-paid mapping expedition around a tropical island.

Oh, and you also get €10,000 spending money.

The winning groups will spend a fortnight on Fiji, St Lucia, Mauritius, Cape Verde or the Seychelles.

The only work they’ll will have to do is to drive around the island in a specially equipped mapping car.

Of course there’ll also be free time for sunbathing, swimming, exploring or whatever takes your fancy.

Managing director of TomTom, Corinne Vigreux said: ‘The very first step in creating an accurate map is proper field work, and that is where the Map Paradise Project comes in.

‘This project will not only create five new navigable maps, it will also give people a unique insight into how our maps are made.

To apply, simply visit the Map Paradise Project website and tell TomTom why your group is perfect for the job.
